We bought a couple sets of 240 GSM Marino Wool base layers (leggings + long-sleeve tops) for our ski trip to Megève, France this Feb from Sleet.ae, and I couldn’t be happier.
The seller was phenomenal; super responsive, extremely helpful, and lovely to deal with. They guided us on the right GSM options and even shipped “test fit” sets to try on and confirm sizing (a total game changer since most brands don’t allow returns once opened). Shipping was same day/next day, everything arrived earlier than expected, and the seller stayed in touch throughout with updates to ensure we were satisfied. They also included a large bottle of eco-friendly wool detergent, all included in the price.
Performance-wise, these thermals were perfect. We wore them skiing/snowboarding and around town in -7°C to +5°C and stayed incredibly warm without ever feeling sweaty or overheated; just comfortable all day/night. They were so effective we could even ditch our mid-layers on the slopes. Perfect fit, comfort, and balance of insulation and breathability.
I can’t recommend Sleet.ae enough, and I’m already looking forward to trying their 350 GSM merino thermals for even colder conditions.

I bought two white tops to wear under work shorts for a trip to London in November 2025.
The morino didn’t show under the shirt (which was exactly the point). Also kept me very warm and more importantly I was walking a lot and did not experience overheating or sweating.
